Our assays include: KSHV, EBV, HCMV, HSV-1, HSV-2, RRV, Viral Load, microRNA, NFkappaB, and P53response.<\/p>\n<div class=\"alert alert-blue\" style=\"width: 100%;text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #4d4d4d;line-height: 1.3em;background-color: transparent\"><br \/>\n<\/span><strong>The Vironomics Core ran <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">19,968<\/span> qPCR reactions during one month! <\/strong><\/div>\n<p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>For each validated assay we have: standard operating procedures, quality controls built in, and trained personnel. Please see below for a few publications that have resulted from each assay.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><br \/>\n<\/b><strong>SAMPLE SUBMISSION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>qPCR requests should be submitted to Dr. Dirk Dittmer and\/or the Vironomics Core Manager, email is best. Once approved, Viral Array samples should be prepared following the<strong> <a class=\"internal-link\" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/vironomics\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/504\/2017\/11\/SOP-S017-V2.1-SOP-of-QPCR-mRNA-Preparation-External-SOP-WEBSITE.pdf\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SOP of qPCR mRNA Preparation<\/a>. <\/strong>Overall, 100uL of cDNA is required for submission. Viral Load samples should be submitted as 1mL of primary sample.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ASSAYS AVAILABLE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our individual <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">viral arrays<\/span> (RT-qPCR) include the following viruses: KSHV, EBV, HSV-1, HSV-2, RRV, and HCMV.
