Placement can impact both the amount and type of content you add. For example:

A Cell placed in the Featured Content area has different space and design needs than one placed in the main body content.

You may need to adjust the volume of content or select different images to fit the space effectively.

Also, keep in mind that a Cell might not look the same to a site visitor as it does to you. This is due to the responsive design, which automatically adjusts the layout based on the viewer’s device and screen size. After adding a Cell, preview the page at multiple screen sizes (desktop, tablet, and mobile) to make sure the Cell maintains its intended appearance.

Should you need to move a Cell to a location with more/less space, the Cell content can be easily edited.

<hr style="margin:50px 0"class=" rule-thin osc-rule" />

Places To Display a Cell

When adding a Cell shortcode to your website, you have two options: the Body of a page or the Featured Content area.

Body (Main Content Area): As a site author, you’re likely familiar with adding content to the Body of a page. The Body contains the main content of the page and is typically where you add text, images, and other elements.

Featured Content Area: Content added to this field spans the full width of the browser window and is displayed prominently above a page’s breadcrumbs, left-hand navigation, and body content. This area is ideal for highlighting important information or visually engaging content. Note that the Featured Content area only accepts shortcode and HTML.

Example

Below is an example from the MD Curriculum website. It uses a in the Icon Nav Bar in the Featured Content area and the Content Boxes in Body area.

Below is what the page looks like when editing it:

Pre-Assess Before creating a Cell, it’s important to decide where you want it to appear on your website.
