Because of this, you may see an older version of a page even though new changes have been saved.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Even if you don\u2019t see your recent changes right away, <strong>visitors to your site are likely seeing the updates<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<hr  style=\"margin:30px 0\"class=\" rule-thin osc-rule\" \/>\n<h2>Common Signs of a Cache Issue<\/h2>\n<p>You may be experiencing a cache issue if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You click Update, but the page looks unchanged.<\/li>\n<li>Someone else sees the update, but you don&#8217;t.<\/li>\n<li>You see changes in one browser but not another.<\/li>\n<li>The issue resolves itself after some time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr  style=\"margin:30px 0\"class=\" rule-thin osc-rule\" \/>\n<h2>How to Fix It<\/h2>\n<p>There are a few techniques you can use to force the browser to display the most recent changes.<\/p>\n<h3>1. Refresh the Page<\/h3>\n<p>Sometimes a simple refresh resolves the issue.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Windows<\/strong>: Ctrl + F5 &#8211; or &#8211; Control + Shift + R<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mac<\/strong>: Command + Shift + R<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>2. Clear the WordPress URL Cache<\/h3>\n<p>In the black admin bar at the top of the screen, click <strong>Clear URL Cache<\/strong>. Right-click on the <strong>refresh\/reload<\/strong> button in the browser toolbar. Clear Your Browser Cache<\/h3>\n<p>Clearing your cache forces the browser to download the most current version from the server.<\/p>\n<h4>Google Chrome<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the three dots (<strong>\u22ee<\/strong>) in the top right.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Settings \u2192 Privacy and Security<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Clear browsing data<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Cached images and files<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Clear data<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reload<\/strong> your page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Microsoft Edge<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the three dots (<strong>\u22ef<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Settings \u2192 Privacy, search, and services<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Under \u201c<strong>Clear browsing data<\/strong>,\u201d click <strong>Choose what to clear<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Cached images and files<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Clear now<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Safari<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Click <strong>Safari<\/strong> in the top menu.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Settings \u2192 Advanced<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Enable <strong>Show Develop menu in menu bar<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>From the top menu, click <strong>Develop \u2192 Empty Caches<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reload<\/strong> your page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>5. Try a Private\/Incognito Window<\/h3>\n<p>Open the page in an incognito\/private window; this ignores most existing browser cache.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After completing these steps, your updated content should be visible.
