Hey Class of 2026! We are so excited you’ve chosen to start your medical career with us here at UNC! It’s been a tradition at UNC School of Medicine to welcome our new Tar Heels with a Welcome Weekend full of ice breakers, games, and a day at the lake. We are so grateful that we will be able to celebrate with everyone in person this year and we look forward to all of the events we have planned! This will be a fun opportunity to get to know your classmates and some awesome MS2s before orientation.
Below you’ll find the information for our Lake Day on July 22nd! Information about Small Group Saturday (July 23rd) will be out shortly, but it’s filled with ice cream, outdoor activities and farmers market fun.
Who: You and 190 of your new best friends (plus a few awesome MS2 peers)
What: The most amazing class bonding event!

Where: A host of places! We will have you moving and grooving across the city
