The Student Affairs Representatives are generally responsible for organizing Student Groups withing the School of Medicine and working to improve the atmosphere and experience for students.


The following are the responsibilities of the Student Affairs Representatives:
  • Active members of the Health Sciences Library Committee
  • Coordinate student group application for funding
  • Coordinate Student Reimbursements from both the Whitehead Medical Society and Medical Alumni Association accounts
  • Allocate Whitehead Medical Society funds to student groups
  • Organize Student Activities Fair
  • Run the Book Exchange Program, which is a program for students on clinical rotations that allows students to rent books needed for studying for Shelf exams at a low price
  • Maintain and enhance Berryhill Student Lounge and Active Lounge
