The purpose of the pilot program is to facilitate the success of junior investigators in the field of health disparities and translational research, with a focus on them becoming independently funded disparities researchers. The pilot program also seeks to facilitate the success of senior investigators as they transition to the field of disparities research. Proposals that are innovative and focus on CHER’s mission and core program areas will receive priority. Applicants may request up to $50,000 for one year. We will award 4-5 successful proposals with an estimated start date of January 2014.
