We provide state-of-the-art zebrafish husbandry and training services to UNC researchers.<\/h1>\n<p>This facility operates within and has veterinary care provided by the <a href=\"http:\/\/research.unc.edu\/comparative-medicine\/\">Division of Comparative Medicine (DCM)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Director of the facility is <a class=\"email-link external-link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/pathology\/faculty\/dplm-faculty-profiles2014dr.-liu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Jiandong Liu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-489\" src=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/zebrafish\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1353\/2015\/03\/Minifishschool.png\" alt=\"Minifishschool\" width=\"233\" height=\"15\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"special-heading\">Noteworthy Achievements<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.science.org\/doi\/10.1126\/sciadv.adk4694\">IN-PRESS from the Liu Lab<\/a>: Dong Y*, Yang Y*, Wang H, Feng D, Nist E, Yapundich N, Spurlock B, Craft M, Qian L, Liu J. 2024. Single-cell chromatin profiling reveals genetic programs activating pro-regenerative states in non-myocyte cells. Sci Adv.
