Postdoctoral Training
Postdoctoral scholars are spread across ~75 active research laboratories of primary and non-primary Microbiology & Immunology faculty members. Postdocs are integrated into the intellectual life of the department in multiple ways. Postdocs and students are given first priority to ask questions at our two weekly seminar series. Postdocs can serve on the Prelim Consulting Corps to advise PhD students developing original research proposals for their written preliminary examination. Postdocs can serve as representatives on the Chair’s Trainee Advisory, Education & Training, Inclusive Excellence, Retreat Planning, and Honors & Awards Committees.
