UNC Hospitals has the personnel, facilities, and equipment that make it one of the best transplant centers in the country. Our program has been certified by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons for kidney, liver, and pancreas.

Our team partners with community practices from as far away as Asheville, NC, so that some patients have valuable access to health care without having to travel far from home. In addition, our outreach efforts allow UNC surgeons to form bonds with our referring doctors.
