Dr. Shoenbill is board certified in family medicine and clinical informatics and is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine. Her research broadly focuses on improving chronic disease prevention and treatment emphasizing lifestyle and nonpharmacologic interventions. She uses informatics methods including secondary use of EHR data, natural language processing, and machine learning to identify deficits and their patterns and predictors in optimal care delivery for chronic disease. Her overarching research goal is to inform and improve quality of care and patient outcomes.
