We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of our Longitudinal Faculty POCUS Development Program, a highly intentional and rigorous longitudinal training experience designed to build POCUS competence in family medicine. Applications will open in Summer 2026, with the inaugural cohort beginning in January 2027 and concluding in Fall 2027. The first year will be limited to 24 participants to ensure quality, close mentorship, and meaningful skill development. This program will blend structured monthly virtual sessions, progressive hands-on workshops, small-group mentorship, and a formal competency assessment. Participants will develop measurable competency across Tier 1–5 applications, strengthen clinical integration of POCUS into everyday patient care, increase scanning confidence and utilization over time, and complete a structured post-program assessment. As with all of our offerings, this initiative is grounded in educational theory and designed with a commitment to excellence.  Additional details and application information will be released this summer.
