Hands-on workshops are a cornerstone of the network’s educational offerings. Led by expert faculty — many of whom played a central role in the STFM POCUS Task Force—these workshops are built around the 52 POCUS applications identified as essential for family medicine residency training.

Our faculty not only defined these applications but also engaged in a structured nominal group process to determine the optimal sequence in which they should be taught.

Reflecting this consensus-driven tiering, we offer:

All workshops are hosted at our regional hubs and feature a low learner-to-faculty ratio of 3:1, ensuring individualized instruction and extensive hands-on practice. With expert guidance and a carefully structured curriculum, participants acquire POCUS skills in the most logical and effective sequence.
