About
Dr. Rabaza is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado in Denver and core residency faculty at the University of Colorado’s Family Medicine Residency Program. She completed her training at this same program and later a fellowship in surgical obstetrics at AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida. She then returned to her program to practice full spectrum Family Medicine, teaching inpatient hospital medicine, surgical obstetrics, newborn care, and outpatient primary care with women’s health procedures. She is dedicated to taking care of underserved patients in the Denver Metro area, especially her Spanish-speaking immigrant patients. Most recently, she earned her STFM POCUS Educator’s Certificate as a member of its inaugural cohort, and she is now a POCUS Champion at her residency program, where she is working to innovate its POCUS longitudinal didactics curriculum, initiate inpatient POCUS “Gel Rounds” and start planning for a dedicated POCUS curricular track.
