Dr. Steve Mow is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency at East Carolina University, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. He returned to the program as a faculty member, eager to continue contributing to the community that shaped his training.

Since joining the faculty, Dr. Mow has led the design and launch of the program’s first Point-of-Care Ultrasound curriculum—an initiative that blends his interests in innovation, education, and practical clinical care. He is passionate about exploring how modern consumer technology can be thoughtfully integrated into medicine to support both physicians and patients.
