Competency Assessment in Primary Care Ultrasound

A cornerstone piece of the PRIME POCUS Learning Network will be the Competency Assessment in Primary Care Ultrasound (CAMPUS) experience. This will be a standardized, scalable training and assessment for POCUS within Family Medicine and Primary Care. It will evaluate the competencies included in the STFM POCUS Task Force recommended implementation tiers. The CAMPUS experience will be a blended testing environment where participants will complete online testing prior to hands-on skills check off with CAMPUS-certified instructors through PRIME, culminating in a case-based skills assessment.
