At the heart of our network is the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, our central and flagship hub.

UNC Chapel Hill features a state-of-the-art simulation lab and modern lecture halls located at the UNC School of Medicine. The scanning lab is equipped with examination tables and a cart-based ultrasound machine connected to a large screen TV, making it easy for everyone in the room to learn by watching scans in real-time. Handheld devices are also available for practice, ensuring a comprehensive training experience.

As the central hub, UNC Chapel Hill not only sets the standard for our network but also has a rich history of academic POCUS initiatives. It proudly hosted the first-ever national Family Medicine POCUS Summit and served as the filming site for the STFM POCUS modules.
