My Research

Our research focuses on transcripts that result from noncoding genomic sequence in normal developmental and disease contexts. Our model systems, including embryonic stem cells and cancer stem cells are used in genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics approaches to delineate functional RNA-RNA, RNA-protein, and RNA-chromatin networks. This supports our overarching interest of defining nuclear and cytoplasmic functions of long noncoding RNA (lncRNA), as determined by their molecular interactions.
