We are a community-engaged research collaborative (or lab). We are always looking for community partners (patients, caregivers, providers, organizations) who want to be on our Community Steering Committee. Be a leader in the field and help guide our collaborative on research topics that are needed by our communities. We specifically are interested in partnering with those from rural communities who either live with type 1 diabetes or provide care for those with type 1 diabetes. Please fill out our general interest form or email Dr. Jewell at vanessa_jewell@med.unc.edu if you are interested in learning more.
