4th year graduate student, Orla Putnam (SPHS), was awarded her 2nd predoctoral fellowship! She received a prestigious Ruth L. Kirschstein Predoctoral Individual National Research Service Award (F31) from NIDCD to support her doctoral dissertation work. This award will support additional training and mentoring related to language development and eye tracking in autism. Her training is supported by her sponsor and co-sponsor, lab PI, Dr. Harrop, and SAGA collaborator, Dr. Parish-Morris (CHOP). Her mentorship team also includes Drs. Jacks (UNC – SPHS), Arnold (UNC – Psychology and Neuroscience), Tomaszewski (UNC – Psychiatry), and Tenenbaum (Duke).
