Postdoc, Tyler McFayden, recently gave a talk at the Autism Research Institute on her recent publication highlighting a novel white matter-language connection in the right arcuate fascicules in infants who later are diagnosed with autism at 24 months. The webinar can be rewatched here.

Macey Johnson (’24) defended her Honors Thesis focused on the experiences of autistic students at UNC. She was awarded funding from the Honors Society to complete this research. Congrats Macey!

Dr. Harrop presented to clinical psychologists across the state at the North Carolina Psychological Association 2024 Conference. During this webinar, Dr. Harrop discussed research surrounding sex differences and sex-related issues in autism and presented examples from our research.
