Graduate Students
Dr. Orla Putnam was the first official Harrop Lab Dr! She obtained her PhD in Speech and Hearing Sciences in 2025. Orla is now a Postdoctoral Fellow at Boston University.
Dr. Jessie Goldblum graduated from the Developmental Psychology program in 2023. Jessie now works for a local private practice supporting autistic individuals and their families.
Dr. Aaron Dallman is an occupational therapist who recently obtained his PhD from UNC-CH. Aaron is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Science at Towson University.
Allison Benedict is a graduate student in the MS of Speech and Language Pathology program at UNC. She received her BS at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC, where she gained experience working in ABA therapy as a Registered Behavior Technician with autistic preschool students.
Emma Sprance is a masters student of UNC-Chapel Hill’s Speech and Language Pathology program.
Gabby Spinella is a master’s student of UNC-Chapel Hill’s Speech-Language Pathology program. She also went to UNC for her bachelor’s degree in global studies, education, and speech and hearing sciences.
Paige Wintermute graduated from the MS of Speech-Language Pathology program at UNC-Chapel Hill. Paige hopes to one day serve as a bilingual pediatric speech-language pathologist, working with children with developmental disabilities in medical settings.
Dr. Stephanie Bristol is an occupational therapist who recently obtained her PhD from UNC-CH. Stephanie is now a Post-Doc at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine.
Mallory Williams is a masters student in her last year of UNC-Chapel Hill’s Speech and Language Pathology program.
Carly Hodges is a masters student in her last year of UNC-Chapel Hill’s Speech and Language Pathology program.

Cathy Perry is now training to become a Clinical Mental Health Counselor at the University of Cincinnati.
Amanda Neal is currently working towards her PhD in Clinical-Community Psychology at the University of South Alabama
Sophie Bittner is currently working as a Research Coordinator at John Hopkins University.
