The PICU, the Department of Surgery and the ECMO Specialist Team recently kicked off a new quality initiative project related to anticoagulation protocols in the PICU for children receiving ECMO care. ISP scholars Ursula Adams, MBA, MD, and Lauren Brown, MD brought Valentine’s day to the PICU via their “Be my bivalventine” celebration.
