Cristina Collins holds a Law degree from Medellín, Colombia, where she practiced as an Employment Law Attorney and Human Resources Manager. She also taught Employment Law at the college level. After moving to the United States in 2016, Cristina joined UNC Health in 2019, where she worked in both the Internal Medicine Clinic and the Patient Relations Department before joining the Institute for Healthcare Quality Improvement (IHQI). She earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is a trained UNC Kaizen Coach.
Currently, Cristina serves as a project management and quality improvement coach for the Improvement Scholars Program. She also manages the Clinician Leadership in Quality and Safety (CLQS) Program and the Central Line Insertion Quality Improvement Consortium (CLIQIC).
