Dr. Tang is originally from the Midwest but completed her undergraduate and medical education in Texas before heading to Boston for her residency. She then moved to North Carolina in 2010 to complete a Masters in Clinical Research at the UNC School of Public Health and a Fellowship in Family Planning. She lived in Lilongwe, Malawi from 2012-2017, where she helped start the country’s first OB-GYN residency program, before moving back to Chapel Hill in 2017.
