Jennifer Woody practices as a nurse practitioner in Orthopaedics. Her areas of focus include clinical utilization of patient-reported outcomes and improving postoperative outcomes through preoperative patient optimization. She is particularly interested in improving the value of care delivered by leveraging interdisciplinary teams. Ms. Woody is the Associate Director of Advanced Practice Professional Development for the UNC APP Center. In this role, she oversees APP post-graduate education, transition to practice, continuing education, mentorship, and involvement with quality improvement initiatives. Ms. Woody is a member of the Triangle Healthcare Executives’ Forum (THEF) Clinicians’ Committee and serves as a mentor in THEF’s annual mentorship program.  She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the UNC School of Nursing and her Master of Healthcare Administration from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
