Kittra Felton is a Patient Services Manager at the UNC Health Care System, where she has served since 2003. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from North Carolina Central University in 2003.

Originally aspiring to become a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Felton discovered a passion for leadership and mentoring, guiding her transition into management. She has remained deeply committed to geriatric care, supporting the growth of the Inpatient Geriatric Service at the Hillsborough Campus since 2017.
Under her leadership, the unit achieved NICHE designation and participated in the Dementia Friendly Hospital Initiative through funding from The Duke Endowment and earned the Age-Friendly Health System Participant designation in 2020.

She champions patient-centered rounding and performance improvement and helped develop the first Nursing System initiative for Age-Friendly Hospital Care through the units IHQI grant work.
