Dr. Lynne Fiscus serves as Chief Statewide Clinical and Academic Integration Officer for UNC Health, where she leads efforts to integrate clinical programs across the statewide network and extend UNC Health’s academic missions in education and clinical research beyond the Triangle. She graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and earned both her medical degree and Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Fiscus completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, followed by a Chief Resident year in Internal Medicine. She practiced full-spectrum Internal Medicine-Pediatrics in Minneapolis with Fairview Health and later the University of Minnesota (M Health), where she held progressive physician leadership roles, ultimately serving as Executive Medical Director of Ambulatory Clinics. She returned to UNC Health in 2017 as the inaugural Chief Value Officer of UNC Physicians Network and became its President and CEO in 2020. Her expertise includes clinical operations, system design, and leading large-scale clinical transformation.
