Dr. Millie Kwan is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the UNC Thurston Arthritis Research Center, and Director of Quality Improvement in the UNC Division of Rheumatology, Allergy & Immunology. Dr. Kwan’s main goals are to provide excellent patient care and work to improve that care through quality improvement (QI) programs. In conjunction with multiple collaborators, current areas of QI involvement include removing inappropriate penicillin allergy labels. She previously received support for Outpatient Penicillin Allergy Delabeling through Improvement Scholars in 2020.
