Favorite Creative Work/Person: My favorite creative influences change on a near-daily basis, as I’m always discovering works and creators that are particularly relevant or inspiring given my present life experiences. Over the past several months, I’ve consistently found myself enamored by the growing genre of performance poetry. Given the current political and social climate of the United States, poetry and performance have given artists a unique voice with which to express their innermost concerns, hopes, doubts, and dreams.

Favorite Photographer: I recently saw and loved Sam Wang. He had an exhibition called “Total Immersion” come out recently that explores landscapes in a beautifully unique style. I’m not much of a landscape photographer but he really inspired me to examine new perspectives.
