Peer Support Advocates (PSA)

Hi everyone! I’m Jess, and I am from Wilmington, North Carolina. I went to UNC for undergrad and studied Biology and Medical Anthropology. After graduating, I moved to Chicago, where I worked with dermatologists at UChicago to study skin conditions. When I’m not watching Sketchy, I’m playing volleyball, hanging out with my cat, and fishing. I am so excited to work with Seth this upcoming year and getting to know you all! Hi! My name is MacKenzie and I was born and raised in  Huntersville, NC. I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2021 and then completed the Master of Physiology program at NC State. My current specialties of interest include Psychiatry, Ophthalmology, and OBGYN. In my free time I love to watch reality TV, cheer on the Tar Heels at UNC games, and play with Brownie, my teacup yorkie. Hey everyone, my name is Alexandra and I am absolutely thrilled to be a peer advocate for Cefalo College! A bit about me – I originally grew up in a small town in South Florida and relocated to the Chapel Hill area once I started undergrad at UNC. After graduation, I completed my MS in Physiology at NC State and worked as an EM scribe and Dermatology medical assistant before returning to UNC for medical school. Outside of the SOM, I am a coffee addict, avid football watcher, and frequent golfer. I cannot wait for the events to come, including the good food that will be featured. Hi everyone! I’m Nandan and I’m originally from Gibsonville, North Carolina. I graduated from Yale in 2021 with a degree in Molecular Biology. I spent my two gap years in New York City as a researcher and volunteer EMT. Outside of school, I love to play basketball and ultimate frisbee as well as cook and bake. I’m super excited to be a Peer Advocate for Cross to help put on events and create a community for students to excel.

Hi friends! My name is Maddie, and I am very excited to be a peer advocate for Dimock College! I am originally from the OBX but grew up in the Raleigh/Wake Forest area. I recently graduated from the University of South Carolina in May 2025, where I studied Biology and Neuroscience. I am extremely passionate about global health and hope to serve underserved communities abroad. Outside of SOM, I love trying new coffee shops, reading, and hanging out with my dog, Charlie. I can’t wait to create an amazing community through Dimock College!
