Deadlines and Key Dates

Due to the large number and competitive nature of the application, we recommend that all application materials be completed early in the application cycle. We cannot guarantee that applications will be considered complete and ready for review if they are submitted through AMCAS late in the application cycle.

Please remember that it takes AMCAS 4-6 weeks to verify each application before the school can see it.

MCAT Deadline

You should take the MCAT no later than September 14th, 2024 for the 2024-2025 application cycle. Please review this chart for MCAT score validity. Scores from 2021 or before are no longer valid for this application cycle.

AMCAS Application Submission

Your application must be complete and submitted to AMCAS by October 1st, 2024.

The Program interviews most of our local applicants during the December dates. If you are from or live in the Triangle Area and would like to be considered for the Local Interview, please submit your complete application by August 16th, 2024. If you are considered a Local Applicant and cannot submit your completed application by this date, you will still be considered for the other two Interview Dates in January.

Supplemental Application Submission

Once we receive your AMCAS application, you will receive an email invitation to submit a Supplemental Application. We encourage your submission within 2 weeks of that invitation. If you would like to be considered for an interview we strongly suggest you to complete the process as soon as possible. The final deadline for submitting your Supplemental Application is Friday, October 4th.
