Alumni Events and Resources
MD-PhD Distinguished Alumni Lecture Series
As often as possible, the Program invites back one of its own to share their perspective on life after graduation from the University of North Carolina. This individual spends extended time with our MD-PhD students, gives a lecture, and joins us for a meal. If you are interested in being one of our Distinguished Alumni Lecturers, please email us.
Medical School Alumni Events and Weekends
The Medical School periodically hosts special events, lectures, and symposiums for alumni in cities around the country. In addition, all UNC Medical School alumni are invited to celebrate in Chapel Hill each year at the Spring and Fall Alumni Weekends. The 2019 Fall Medical Alumni Weekend will be held on September 27-28, 2019, and you can get more information about the event here.
MD-PhD Alumni Ambassadors
We are excited to grow our alumni event programs in 2017, and are looking for alumni around the country to help organize events. If you are interested in becoming one of these Alumni Ambassadors, please email us.
MD-PhD Alumni Mentors
If you are interested in giving back to the MD-PhD Program by helping our current students gain exposure to real-life experiences and grow their networks, we would love to have you as an Alumni Mentor. Mentors are partnered with current students who share their areas of interest, and are able to decide the level of participation they would like to have with their mentee. If you are interested in becoming an Alumni Mentor, please email us.
