About
I am a clinician educator and value being a very strong patient advocate, serving as an educator to families and caregivers and supporting patients through changes as they age. I have loved geriatric medicine since medical school! I love getting to know my patients and working together to meet their needs. I have a strong focus on mental health in addition to primary care.
I am very passionate about medical student education and coaching and I serve as a mentor and academic coach to medical students in their clinical years of training. I also teach 1st and 2nd year medical students in the Patient Centered Care Course at UNC School of Medicine.
