About
Dr. Sood evaluates patients in the UNC Allergy clinic with a broad range of allergic disorders, including food allergy, drug allergy, chronic urticaria, allergic rhinitis, and allergic asthma. In addition, she also has a particular interest in the evaluation of immune deficiencies and autoinflammatory disorders. Another area of clinical focus includes transitional care of adolescents from pediatrics to adult medicine. Dr. Sood has a strong passion for training of the next generation of medical professionals and is actively engaged in teaching trainees at all levels, including medical students, residents, and fellows. Finally, she has a personal interest in optimizing electronic health record system efficiency to maximize time spent at the bedside with patients.
