About
Why UNC: I chose UNC because the program offers a strong blend of clinical and academic excellence, with a unique balance of pediatrics and internal medicine. The supportive environment and focus on mentorship are perfect for growing as both a clinician and educator. I am excited to learn from the wonderful faculty who foster innovative research, high-quality patient care, and professional development.
Future Envisions: I look forward to growing as a clinician educator with a career that combines patient care, research, and education. My current interests include designing and implementing resident education programs, improving patient outcomes through quality improvement, and addressing disparities in allergic and immunologic conditions, particularly in underserved populations. Within allergy and immunology, I am especially interested in food allergy and immunology.
Favorite Things to Do: I love spending time with my husband and our dogs, whether it is gardening in our backyard, exploring scenic trails, or playing tennis. I also enjoy tapping into my creative side through painting and home improvement projects. When I am not working, I love trying new restaurants and traveling. I am excited to dive into the vibrant culture and community in Chapel Hill.
