Changing my career from hotel management to medicine offered me a second chance to pursue something that brings me not only pride and joy, but also gratitude. I am thankful everyday for the opportunity to better the lives of the patients that I serve. During my time here at UNC, I hope to discover what it means to treat more than the disease but the entire person because I believe that in order to effectively treat what ails us, it is paramount to understand we are a compilation of our experiences, triumphs and challenges in addition to the physical mind & body. I look forward to building lasting doctor-patient relationships made of trust and respect.
