About
I grew up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Roanoke, Virginia and completed undergrad at the College of William and Mary. I later went on to complete medical school at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia where I was first introduced to rheumatology and fell in love with the patient population and diversity of pathology within the field. I moved down to Charleston, South Carolina to join the residency program at MUSC where I had wonderful mentors that further nurtured my clinical and research interests in rheumatology. I am so excited to be joining the fellowship at UNC and thrilled to be moving to the Chapel Hill area! In my free time I enjoy hiking, biking, sewing, and reading as well as hanging out with my husband and two cats
