Dr. Herndon is a general rheumatologist with a special interest in systemic lupus erythematous. Her goal is to partner with people who have rheumatic diseases to achieve the best management possible for their disease. She prioritizes shared goal setting, clear communication, and disease education when caring for people in clinic. As a clinician educator, she also works with medical trainees such as medical students, residents, and rheumatology fellows to promote further rheumatic disease education.
