Congratulations to Anna Wheless, a biochemistry and biophysics graduate student, who received her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology with a concentration in Microbiology from the University of Houston–Downtown, a member of Dr. Neher’s lab since April, 2020, studying the inhibition of LPL by ANGPTL4, for recently receiving Graduate Research Fellowship from NSF.
The fellowship provides stipend support for Anna’s proposal, titled “Viewing a Lipase Through Two Lenses to Resolve the Mysteries of Lipid Metabolism”.
