Congratulations to Jennifer Potts & Vincent Roche, undergraduate research assistants in Biomedical Engineering, NCSU/UNC, Dr. Cole’s Lab, for receiving NC State Undergraduate Research Awards for Fall, 2020.

Congratulations to Peyton Sandroni, a pharmacology graduate student, currently in Dr. Jensen’s Lab, for recently being selected as a trainee for the Integrative Vascular Biology T32 Training Program.       Peyton also has been chosen for the Certificate Program in Translational Medicine.

Congratulations to Stephanie Teeter, M.Ed., Research Technician & Lab Manager, and Sandra Stangeland-Molo, Ph.D. student, both in Biomedical Engineering, NCSU/UNC, Dr. Cole’s Lab, for completing IMPACTS Program, a selective state-wide public science communication training and outreach initiative.

Congratulations to Jean Marie Mwiza, a graduate research assistant in Dr. Bergmeier’s Lab, for recently receiving an F31 research fellowship award from NIH’s NHLBI. Jean Marie’s fellowship provides ongoing stipend support, beginning January, 2021, for his project, titled “Determining the Platelet Signaling Pathway(s) Critical in Venous Thrombosis Pathogenesis”.
