Congratulations to Kirsten Giesbrecht, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mathematics, advised by and in the lab of Boyce Griffith, Ph.D., for recently receiving a predoctoral fellowship from AHA.
Her project, which will be joint with the lab of Michael Bressan, Ph.D., an MHI member and Assistant Professor of Cell Biology and Physiology, aims to use experimental and computational models of embryonic heart development to determine links between fluid forces and aorticopulmonary septum development.
