Congratulations to the Lab of Michael Bressan, Ph.D., an MHI member and Associate Professor of Cell Biology and Physiology, for the receipt of R01 grant, entitled “’Outside-in’ Model of Cardiac Pacemaking: Extracellular Mediated Automaticity”, from NIH’s NHLBI. The proposed studies focus on the ionic mechanisms of cardiac pacemaker cell synchronization.
