The Bressan Lab Awarded R01 Grant From The National Institutes Of Health’s (NIH) National Heart, Lung, And Blood Institute (NHLBI)

Congratulations to the Lab of Michael Bressan, Ph.D., an MHI member and Associate Professor of Cell Biology and Physiology, for the receipt of R01 grant, entitled “’Outside-in’ Model of Cardiac Pacemaking: Extracellular Mediated Automaticity”, from NIH’s NHLBI.

The proposed studies focus on the ionic mechanisms of cardiac pacemaker cell synchronization.
