Congratulations to Victoria L. Bautch, Ph.D., Beverly Long Chapin Distinguished Professor of Biology; Co-Director, UNC McAllister Heart Institute, for recently being appointed to the NHLBI Advisory Council of the NIH.
The Council advises the NHLBI and its Director, Dr. Gary Gibbons, on research directions and funding priorities, and meets approximately 4 times/year.
