Congratulations to William J. Polacheck, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Biomedical Engineering, for publishing paper, entitled “Uncovering mutation-specific morphogenic phenotypes and paracrine-mediated vessel dysfunction in a biomimetic vascularized mammary duct platform”, in the journal Nature Communications.
Dr. Polacheck’s paper presents a new microphysiological model of a vascularized mammary duct to investigate cross-talk between endothelial and epithelial cells during morphogenesis and is featured in the July 6, 2020 edition of Nature Communications, which can be read online now.
