GENESIS (Guiding Emerging New Experts in STEM Interdisciplinary Sciences)

GENESIS is a BioSTAR Office initiative dedicated to supporting summer interns affiliated with the UNC School of Medicine. Through tailored programming, professional development workshops, and community-building activities, GENESIS fosters a supportive network that helps interns thrive during their time at Carolina. The summer experience culminates in the GENESIS Summer Research Symposium, where students showcase their research through oral and poster presentations to the broader scientific community.
