About the OIA Global Health Forum

The UNC School of Medicine’s Office of International Activities now sponsors a monthly OIA GLOBAL HEALTH FORUM that features UNC clinicians, researchers, resident physicians, and scholars through which we hope to build a global health learning community through the SOM; an opportunity for residents to showcase their work and also to involve more faculty with diverse global health interests and expertise and to mix medical student and resident audiences. We hope to have diverse formats – including lectures, resident presentations of scholarly work, journal clubs and case studies.

The OIA GLOBAL HEALTH FORUM takes place every third Thursday of the month through May, 2017 from 12:00pm-1:00pm in UNC Hospital Starbucks on UNC campus. For more information, feedback, or to suggest a topic or speaker, please contact the OIA Program Manager, Shay Slifko
