Physicians for Human Rights Student Group
Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) is a US-based not-for-profit human rights NGO that uses medicine and science to advocate against human rights violations. The UNC School of Medicine student chapter was founded in 2015, and its flagship project is a monthly medical-legal clinic (N-648 Clinic) that assists refugees in their path to naturalization and securing critical social services.
