I have an older sister and two brothers and the most amazing parents. I am currently engaged to my fiancé Isa who is applying for family medicine this year! Between the two of us, we have a torty cat named Reese and a distinguished gentleman tuxedo cat named Oliver!
Favorite hobbies:
I love to cook! Joshua Weismann is my inspiration. If I’m not eating or cooking, I’m watching tv and I range from watching anime, random movies, or TV shows like the boys or House of Dragon
Favorite restaurant/take-out:
I have not explored as much as I would like, but I am a BIG fan of the Raleigh food hall or the Durham one.
If I wasn’t a pathologist:
I would be a chef! As you can tell I love food
On my next weekend not on call:
As first years we don’t take call… So that’s something to look forward to! On my weekends I spend time with my cat Oliver and catch up on TV shows or go out and touch grass.
Favorite thing about pathology:
Every day is something different. Although I may be on the same service, each day is a new experience. I love the aspect of being a big part of the clinical outcome when it comes to patient care. If you love a field that challenges you, there’s nothing better than pathology!
