Dr. Lamont completed her undergraduate studies in Animal Science and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. After completing her DVM, she started her journey at UNC as a resident in the Laboratory Animal Medicine Program. Dr. Lamont is interested in laboratory animal welfare, surgery, rodent medicine, and animal biocontainment.
